How I Work
I work from a dedicated & peaceful garden room in Bruton, Somerset.
Initially I offer a free 30 minute session which would give you the opportunity to discuss what you are seeking from psychotherapy, and to ask me any questions you may have.
I work both short-term - where the therapy is more focused on a particular issue and can help as a support to help you through a crisis - and long term where psychotherapy works at depth and can help to find the root causes of particular issues and behavioural patterns and look at ways to change these with ongoing support.
Confidentiality and respectful relationship are key in supporting, facilitating and accompanying you in your own unique process of enquiry. I abide by a written code of ethics upheld by the Karuna Institute, which is a member of the UKCP.
What happens in a session?
Each client is unique and I offer a diverse set of tools and practices to allow me to work with you wherever you are in your process. My practice focuses on listening & reflecting with you in a non-judgemental capacity.
Some tools that I use can include:

- Art Therapy
How long and how often?
Sessions are 1 hour and are the same time and day on a weekly basis wherever possible. We initially agree to working together for six sessions and review thereafter.
